Linda first reconfigured the space to the architect’s original intent. Remedying an awkward back entry and misplaced dining area achieved a structurally seamless layout, primed and prepped for finishing. The rearrangement of the dining room opened up the space, creating a new living area for the family to gather and reminisce.
The approach was all about marrying modern with the estate’s traditional roots. Muted tones provide balance for a bold chandelier and antique furnishings. Airy light filters through French doors, illuminating brass finishes and warm wood tones. Linda created a space appropriate for modern living—clean, simple and natural, with moments of preserved past.
